First Visit

Once your dental records are complete, you will meet your orthodontist in the room with your orthodontic assistant. This is the perfect time to discuss your specific smile goals. Some questions that will be answered are: 

-Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?

-Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?

-What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?

-How long will treatment take?

 At Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, we tailor your treatment to your lifestyle, choices, and objectives. We will work with you to custom build a treatment plan that is perfect for you, no matter what your preferred treatment modality is!

• The Orthodontist will then review their proposed treatment plan/options with you. At Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, we want you to help co-create the perfect custom plan for yourself or your child so your input and questions are always encouraged.

   

• The Orthodontist will assess the records taken and meet with our Treatment Care Coordinator to discuss potential treatment options and timing, based on your records and the preferences you discussed.

   

• Once your treatment plan is finalized, our Treatment Care Coordinator will review your financial options and any insurance benefits you may have. We have multiple payment options and are here to help you figure out which one best suits your budget.

   

• We realize taking time off work and pulling the kiddos from school can be a hassle, so if our doctor gives the green light and you are ready to get started with treatment, we are often able to take the first step in your treatment process the day of your Smile Assessment, saving you a trip back to the office.
